I am 19 years old, and the European Representative for BYC. I currently study International and European Law at the University of Sheffield.
From a very young age, I have always been very passionate about giving young people a voice on a in variety of issues, and ensuring that injustice in today’s society does not affect young people and prevent them from striving for their potential.
Young people from my hometown often found it hard to be passionate and feel a part of decision making, therefore I aimed to bridge this gap by voicing their concerns both on a national and international platform. From very young age, I had a great desire to be involved in international projects BYC facilitated, however for such role being 18 yuears old is necessary. Therefore, summer 2015 was perfect timing and after a difficult round of elections I managed to achieve one of my biggest aims, and that was to become the UK Young Ambassador for Europe! I cannot wait to transfer my passion to make effective changes to improve youth democracy and society inclusivity for young people.
