I am from Northern Ireland and currently studying Law with French at Queen’s, Belfast. In the future I hope to be a solicitor. Languages are one of my favourite things – I take French classes as part of my degree and also take a Spanish class one evening a week.
I have previously been involved with youth voice through the Northern Ireland Youth Forum and UK Youth Parliament. I also travelled to the UN to present on how young people in Northern Ireland feel their rights are protected and promoted. I have had work experience placements at the Northern Ireland Assembly and the European Parliament – both encouraged my interest in politics. Within university I am a member of the law society careers committee and a member of the French society.
Currently I am a UK Young Ambassador working on the Vth cycle of Structured Dialogue representing Northern Ireland on the UK National Working Group.
I am passionate about women in politics, international cooperation and youth voice.
I want UK young people to have strong representation in Europe particularly post Brexit and to raise awareness of what we do as UK young ambassadors.
